Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Quietmap Studio website at quietmap.studio (the "Site") and purchasing any products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site or purchase any products.

Quietmap Studio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Products and Delivery

Quietmap Studio sells city map poster files ("Products") rendered from real cartographic data. Products are currently available as digital downloads (300 DPI PNG + print-ready PDF, delivered via email). Physical prints are in development and not yet available for purchase.

Digital delivery is typically completed within 30 minutes of a successful payment. Catalog download links stay valid for 30 daysCustom download links stay valid for 1 hour. If order-bound catalog links are unavailable, the direct catalog link expires after 7 days; contact support for a fresh link. 3. License and Permitted Use

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased digital files for the following purposes:

• Personal printing and display in your home or office
• Gifting a printed copy to another individual
• Using the printed poster in interior design projects

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the digital files
• Use the files in commercial products for resale (e.g., merchandise, prints for sale)
• Claim authorship or remove any embedded metadata
• Upload the files to print-on-demand services for commercial distribution

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported; you are charged the amount shown at checkout, inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your card details.

Promotional pricing and discount codes are offered at our discretion and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

5. Refunds

Our guarantee. If your downloaded file is defective, or materially different from the preview shown at purchase, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we will supply a corrected file or refund your purchase — your choice. This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer law. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to poster designs, website design, text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Quietmap Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Map data is sourced from OpenStreetMap, available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). Our artistic rendering, color palettes, compositions, and design treatments are original works of Quietmap Studio.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from the Site

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Quietmap Studio does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

While we strive for cartographic accuracy, our posters are artistic interpretations of map data and should not be used for navigation, surveying, or any purpose requiring geographic precision.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quietmap Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
